Q. Why use native plants?

A. Native plants have become exceptionally well adapted to the local climate, moisture, disease and insect problems.  Although not immune to any of these threats they survive better than many non-native species. Native plants also provide the right flowers for pollinators and food for wildlife.

Q. Why not rent a seed drill and do this myself?

A. This is possible especially if you are very skilled at calibration of field machinery and also have the tools and know how to make the necessary adjustments for seed application.  A high horsepower tractor is also needed to pull the larger seed drills.

Q. What size projects will you tackle?

A. Wildscapes, LLC has experience managing preserves as large as 2,400 acres, establishing grassland on sites covering nearly 75 acres and has designed gardens as small as a typical bedroom.
